Union Civil Bureau: Introduction

The UCB is an organization that functions globally as a Bank & Registry office for the various residents of Earth under the Combine occupation. Founded sometime after the Seven Hour War, the UCB was the first organization responsible for consolidation and tracking all citizenry across Combine occupied Sectors, Cities and Districts to ensure everyone had a place within the Combine.

While in the Modern day the UCB is not the sole point of Registry, many citizens and various groups still use the UCB day and night to run various administrative and banking tasks through them, allowing for it to keep track of the various Economic needs of the City and act as a useful assistant/helper for all adjacent orgs such as the Civil Workers, Civil Medical and various other Unions. Its primary duties in the modern day relate to its main duty of Banking, it holds onto funds for Citizens and handles accounts, tracks City, District and faction budgets, search for funding discrepancies, fund projects the District needs and offer a place for citizens to get a job even when a certain group or individual is unavailable otherwise for a select faction.

The UCB essentially acts as the middleman of all groups and orgs given its position and ensures all Citizens feel welcome.

Despite this knowledge, it is unknown in full what the UCB really does outside of its visible duties given to most of the populace, the UCB exists primarily and only as their Bank and fellow helpdesk, but many question as to why the UCB operates day and night is not entirely clear. Even in the old world- a bank would never be open 24/7, yet the UCB always seems like something is going on even if it is never clear what that something is.

Though naturally, many leave it to its own devices given it is one of the few support structures a citizen has in their day to day life that exists within the occupation to date.
