Summary/Lore: As much as they are similar to the species where dropships also reside, these reversed engineered, back-water aquarians have been heavily modified with flight mechanisms similar to that of a helicopter with added jet engines, albeit also given deadly weapons for eradication procedures. Whilist this may appear to be heavily outdated, it is questionable whether or not they have been adapted to Earth's mass and gravitational pull.
Despite its appearance to be some form of hybrid fish-dragonfly, the gunship is no joke. These are sent to multiple hot zones throughout the planet to assist in clean-up operations, or to commence airstrikes on malignant positions. They will also guard very important installations that are vital to the Union's Administration or Military occupation within controlled Outlands or City Sectors.
The mounted pulse cannon must be changed to produce enough energy to automatically fire upon hostiles below. They also have installed IFF (Identify Friend-Foe) and PDT (Point-Defense targeting) systems that are able to allow the gunship to shoot down incoming projectiles, like missiles for example.
To allow more insult to injury, their fins, or flaps, allow the gunship to effectively maneuver past incoming enemy fire. They will also assist ground forces in their offensive or defensive operations with an A-O. Bare in mind that if an area is too well entrenched, the gunship may utilize its Dark-Energy Porjector to eliminate a group of hostiles, or even an entire structure with ease.
